Chamber tour

See the chamber before you need it.

A short guided visit to an SSS recompression chamber, for divers, physicians and medical organizations.

The visit

What happens on a chamber tour.

A member of the chamber team shows you the facility and explains the work. The visit takes less than one hour.

The explanation

Staff explain how a recompression chamber works and what they do with it. You see the chamber, the operator console and the equipment that supports a treatment.

Inside the chamber

Some visitors then go inside the chamber and are pressurized for a short time. This part is optional. It has age and medical conditions, which are below.

Conditions

Before you go inside the chamber.

Pressure is not a demonstration. These conditions apply to every visitor who enters the chamber.

Age 18 and over

You must be 18 years old or more to enter the chamber.

Medical screening

The facility screens every visitor before entry. A physician decides who can be pressurized. Tell the staff about any medical condition when you arrange the visit.

Groups of 10 or fewer

A tour group must have 10 people or fewer.

You can join the tour and stay outside the chamber. Only the part inside the chamber has these conditions.
